Of Our Local Service Center

Actually we are reopening our Service Center. We started servicing Televisions and
home consumer electronics in 1975. We also serviced business and citizens band
radio equipment (we still have our Federal FCC Commercial First-Class
(now General Radiotelephone) License.

By 1980, we were also servicing VCRs and musical instrument electronics.
By 1985, we were also installing and servicing satellite tv systems-
(not the little 18" dishes of today), but 8-16 foot C-band types.

By 1986, we started to service the first computerized desk-top publishing
systems along with computerized photographic film processing systems
(the type you find in your local drug store).

In 1988, we started servicing small-business and personal computer systems.
In 1997, we started our Surplus Electronic Merchandise Company.

Now in 2014, we have restarted our Service Center. We will mainly service
Small-Business and Personal Windows Computer Systems and Android-based
Tablets.

We are also quite equipped to handle most home-consumer electronic products,
such as DVD Players, VCR's, Televisions, Audio Equipment, and the like.
However, unlike 20 years ago when a city of 100,000 people usually had
around 20 TV/Electronic Repair shops, things have unfortunately changed.

Once-upon-a-time, electronic products were made to be repaired and not just
"thrown away", electronic manufacturers stocked replacement parts and had
service information. Today most newer home consumer electronics have very
few replacement parts available and service information is also
non-existent.

This is not to say that all home-consumer products cannot be repaired.
Many products like VCRs and DVD Players just need to be cleaned and
have rubber belts or idler tires replaced. Many other products require minor
labor and generic electronic parts replacement.

In ending, if you have a piece of equipment that you would like to have repaired,
it won't hurt to inquire.
